A Story of Financial Independence

I became a millionaire on July 6, 2023 🎉

Finally! I’ve been on the corporate treadmill since March 1, 2013. Ten years of corporate servitude to pay off student loans, and grow my Net Worth to this milestone.

I want to take a moment to reflect on this achievement. And I decided to do this retrospective in writing in the form of a blog, and share my story and learnings up to this point, and as I adapt over the coming years.

Retirement at the end of 2030 is the goal I have in back of mind. Only 2,716 days to go! [as of July 25th, 2023]

What Next?

$2 Million is the next milestone of course! My ultimate end goal is closer to the $3-4 Million range to maintain current lifestyle. While I feel great about finally reaching seven figures, my journey is still early in the story and I’ve got a long ways to go.

Subscribe to my blog and join me along the journey, and post comments to let me learn from you!
